Founder and President Douglas Williams is a seasoned broadcast journalist and television producer who honed his skills in Japan, where he lived as a graduate student at Hokkaido University in Sapporo and later as a correspondent and on-air host in Tokyo for such prestigious media outlets as CNBC and NBC Asia. Williams speaks Japanese fluently and has a rich network of contacts, sources, and production crews in the U.S. and Japan.


Pacific Voice continues to work with Japanese broadcasters such as NHK (Japanese national public television) on long-form documentaries as well as other forms of visual production, including an infomercial for a sporting goods company that was recently completed. Pacific Voice is also available for production coordination.

   
 
 
 


Sandstorm, an autonomous vehicle designed and built at Carnegie Mellon University to compete in the DARPA Grand Challenge, completed 7.4 miles of the course-more than any other entry in the race.
